この利用規約（以下「本規約」）は、Occursus（以下「本サービス」）の利用条件を定めるものです。本サービスをご利用いただく前に、本規約をよくお読みください。
1. 利用条件
本サービスをご利用いただくには、以下の条件に同意する必要があります：
- 有効なGoogleアカウントをお持ちであること
- 13歳未満のお子様の場合、保護者（親権者）がアカウントを作成・管理すること
- 本規約およびプライバシーポリシーに同意すること
2. サービスの内容
本サービスは以下の機能を提供します：
- 読書記録の管理
- 読書マラソンイベントの作成・参加
- グループでの読書進捗の共有
- バッジ・実績の取得
基本的な機能は無料でご利用いただけます。一部の機能（イベント内での特別なルートの解放、読書記録の保存など）は有料となる場合があります。詳細は次条をご覧ください。
3. お支払いについて
本サービスの一部機能は、決済代行会社Stripeを通じて有料でご提供します。決済は米ドル（USD）建てで行われます。
- イベント内で特別なルートを解放する際の購入
- イベント終了後、読書記録・賞状・バッジを保存する際の購入（初回は無料、2回目以降は有料）
13歳未満のお子様のアカウントについては、保護者（親権者）がお支払いに関する判断・操作を行うものとします。
購入したデジタルコンテンツ（ルートの解放、記録の保存）は、提供後の返金には原則対応いたしません。ただし、システムの不具合により正しくサービスが提供されなかった場合は、occursusbooks@gmail.com までご連絡ください。内容を確認の上、返金または再処理にて対応いたします。
4. データの保持・削除について
イベント終了後、グループ全体の共有データ（地図の進捗など）は、イベントごとに設定された保存期間の経過後、サーバーから自動的に削除されます。
個人の読書記録・賞状・バッジについては、保護者が「記録を残す」操作（無料または有料）を行わない限り、同様に削除されます。削除されたデータは復元できません。
5. 禁止事項
以下の行為を禁止します：
- 虚偽の情報を登録すること
- 他のユーザーへの嫌がらせや不適切なコンテンツの投稿
- 本サービスのシステムへの不正アクセス
- 商業目的での無断利用
- 法令に違反する行為
6. アカウントの管理
アカウントのセキュリティ管理はユーザーの責任となります。アカウントの不正使用が疑われる場合は、速やかにご連絡ください。
お子様が参加中のイベントの管理者になっている状態でアカウントを削除された場合、管理者の権限は自動的に他の参加者へ引き継がれます。引き継ぎ先を指定したい場合は、削除手続きの画面でお子様以外の参加者を選択することができます。
7. サービスの変更・終了
事前の通知なく、サービスの内容を変更または終了する場合があります。重要な変更がある場合は、可能な限り事前にメールでお知らせします。
8. 免責事項
本サービスは「現状のまま」提供されます。サービスの利用により生じた損害について、運営者は責任を負いかねます。
9. 準拠法
本規約はニューヨーク州法に準拠します。

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Occursus (the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
1. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Have a valid Google account
- If you are a parent or guardian of a child under 13, you must create and manage the account on their behalf
- Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
2. Service Description
The Service provides:
- Reading record management
- Reading marathon event creation and participation
- Group reading progress sharing
- Badges and achievements
Core features are free to use. Certain features (such as unlocking special routes within an event, or saving reading records) may require payment. See the section below for details.
3. Payments
Certain features of the Service are provided for a fee, processed through our payment provider, Stripe. Payments are made in U.S. dollars (USD).
- Unlocking a special route within an event
- Saving reading records, certificates, and badges after an event ends (the first time is free; subsequent saves require payment)
For accounts belonging to children under 13, all payment decisions and actions must be made by the parent or guardian.
Digital content that has been purchased (route unlocks, record saving) is generally non-refundable once provided. However, if the Service was not properly provided due to a system error, please contact us at occursusbooks@gmail.com. We will review the matter and provide a refund or re-process the request as appropriate.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
After an event ends, shared group data (such as map progress) is automatically deleted from our servers once the retention period set for that event has passed.
Individual reading records, certificates, and badges are similarly deleted unless a parent or guardian chooses to "keep" the record (free or paid, as applicable). Deleted data cannot be recovered.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Provide false information
- Harass other users or post inappropriate content
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Service's systems
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
- Violate any applicable laws
6. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, please contact us immediately.
If your child is the administrator of an event they are currently participating in and you delete your account, administrator rights will automatically be transferred to another participant. If you would like to choose who takes over, you may select a specific participant on the account deletion confirmation screen.
7. Changes and Termination
We may modify or discontinue the Service without prior notice. For significant changes, we will notify you by email whenever possible.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
